Actually, France, Russia and China supplied vastly more such material to Iraq than the USA or Britain. These three were the very members of The UN Security Council who opted out of invading Iraq...I wonder why?!

Dear Drewhound, Your logic might make sense if the enemy facing Iraq was Kazakhstan, say, or Yemen or even Iran again...ie a conflict that might be expected to rumble on for ages - using lots of ammunition - before a solution was found. However, it was as plain as a pikestaff that the Iraqis would be overrun by the coalition forces very rapidly...ie requiring little in the way of armaments. And so it transpired.

could some please tell me what kind of weapons did the uk and the us and france and china sell to iraq because all i see on the news are AK47's russian's built t172 tanks which were built by the russian's and RPG which were built by the russian so what did the other countrys do then?. you don't see iraq's which m25's or pk90 .
