Football Mess

A bit late to post this
But, does anyone agree with me about the terrible mess strewn around everywhere after the Rangers match the other evening, that the offenders dropping their litter throughout the city, should clear it up themselves?
I reckon there should have been more bins provided for this inevitable happening.
Perhaps, they would have still just dropped their litter where they were.
There was certainly no need to go around attacking people.

Sorry dot.hawkes,I must have missed your thread.
Oh yes,I forgot about the other mess they left behind.
Yes,you do have a point there BOO.
They should go back to where they came from....
No,perhaps bins wouldn't have helped after all.
But,I sure you all agree that they shouldn't have attacked people just because they lost, especially the police who were trying to protect the innocent ones and keep the violence at bay .

I heard that rumour about the big screen being pulled too as there were so many more people than expected so they wanted to get them out of town to the velodrome, I guess so the fans were dispersed and more controlled.
I don't suppose they thought it'd kick off a riot.
There were people out on the streets drinking when I was walking to work at 7am and apparantly Tesco got slammed for having bulk packs of cheap beer at the entrance from early, heard they got threatened with licence removal if they didn't shift it.
By mid afternoon there were a lot of extremely drunk people, we let most of the staff go early as they'd had to stop some of the trams and roads had to be shut and traffic was mad. They said they felt very intimidated trying to get home.
To be honest it was a relief for them to go after the events of that evening. Maybe Rangers should be shamed into footing some of the bill for the clearup.
I'm not a football fan but am disappointed it means local people suffer and now can't watch their team on the big screen now and it'll be another excuse for the council not to let us have a New Year do etc...
