Water shortage

Say if all the water goes off in your work and surrounding area, drinking water, toilets etc, and there are no public toilets anywhere that you can use, can you get sent home?

Is it like the heating having to be above a certain temperature and if it is not, you don't have to stay?

Yep. And they don't HAVE to pay you, thugh many employers will.
