no surprise in London last night,

the soft southern losers were in town forgetting all their inherent troubles by getting p!$$d (if that was a sport they would at least be champions of something),

to make matters worse their team lost so the ticketless t0$$rs who for some reason think it is better to attack the met police in london rather than moscow.

well done chelsea thugs, you have just made last weeks racist ranters look rather hypocritical.

I guess we are all the same after all. Lets celebrate our unity and forget our differences X
After MUs 1999 win, the streets of Manchester were lined with half a million fans for the victory parade and there was no trouble. After last weeks riot, the cops and kn0bs in the town hall have banned any parade today.

Gromit the manc police and council are partly to blame, they couldnt handle a sunday school trip, there was 6,000 police at the game last night to cater for 40,000 fans. There was 200,000-250,000 rangers fans and how many police??? 10 toilets for 20,000 people in a fanzone, and you wonder why the place smelled of urine?
nedflanders

Manchester has hosted matches for European Championships in 1996, and The Champions League final in 2006 with great success and no violence.

I can assure you, that there are more than 10 toilets in the centre of Manchester.

Don't make apologies for the rangers fans. They were just bad losers.
In fact there were 300 toilets. See here

Liverpool fans have the worst record regards trouble in Europe. Now, tell me , is this hell-hole of a place in the South of England or Scotland?
Question Author
I'm not apologising for them, they are filth but if 15,000 people are crammed into a space where you can hardly move with 10 portaloos to cater for them you know whats gonna happen. The council and police have to take some responsibility and admit they made mistakes. I would be pi$$ed if I was a United fan. Maybe there is no parade cos they wont make as much money as they did last week?
Question Author
300 toilets for say conservatively 150,000 people, thats 1 toilet for every 500 fans. Mmmm.

Newsdesk - What was there is Seville? Porto-lose? Boom boom.
That is 300 additional toilets.

The police say there were 100,000 fans, 50,000 of which were in the City of Manchester Stadium where the designers had thoughtfully included plenty of toilets.

Every pub and bar in the city centre have toilets, and there are public conveniences in Piccadilly Gardens.

In 1999, 500,000 United fans descended on the city centre for the victory parade when United last won the European Cup. They all managed to find toilet facilities.

In short, there were enough toilets for those who wanted to use them.

Im only joking Newsdesk, I have a sense of humor, I am a Killie fan!

Gromit - do you work for the council PR department?
No,

just want to see blame apportioned to the Rangers fans not the people whose hospitality they abused.
gromit please tell me where the public conveniences are in piccadilly gardens ( Every pub and bar in the city centre have toilets, and there are public conveniences in Piccadilly Gardens. ) disappointed fans leaving piccadilly after the screen had failed could not watch the match in any pub as they were closed . the shops away from the ground were visited by police and advised to close for the night.
there is one superloo in piccadilly gardens that i know of please tell me where the others are.( that is one for every male and female person in the centre)
