whingeing poms
didnt someone rant about england yesterday?

its a daily topic these days, Im sure everyone will agree with you
There's always the option of emigrating if you don't like it here....
we can change a few things in small ways, we should look after our families and make sure we don;t bother anyone, that's one way of feeling you are doing your best, you can't change the big things.
dotty waves at B00, never catch you lately!!!
Question Author
and why should i emmergrat from my own country i would just like some old fashioned morals brought back

Waves back to dotty- hello!!!

Well its ok saying you'd like old fashioned morals brought back, but unless you're willing to do something about it, it's kinda pointless whinging about them dustypuss.

If you feel so strongly- try and see if there's anything in your community you can help out with, be an example to the very people you so dislike.
I think dots reply summed up the limit of our abilities when it comes to changing the country, we cannot change the big things but we will endeavour to look after our families and ensure that they are not a burden to anyone.
to much for a sunday night lol
Question Author
Caz we should not have a limit to our ability to do something about some one who is doing wrong

they know that they are doing wrong but they also now that we cannot do any thin about it

some families endeavor to look after there families by showing them the best way to braking in to your house and the think this is ok

can you condone this

like boo says, get into your community and see where you can help if you feel this strongly
Question Author
i not talking about a community

im talking about England as a whole
where does it start dusty?

this is one of those debates where everyone moans but in the end nothing is ever resolved, then another similar moan is posted a few days later.

moaning alone is not going to change the situation, you have to do what you can to the limit of your capabilities, if that means making sure that your children turn out as respectable decent human beings then that cannot be bad, if everyone did it it would be even better.

And what do you think makes up "England as a whole"? It's communities!!

Question Author
boo cannot agree with you i live in a small village approx 200 houses

i have only spoken to my neighbor once in the last five years

every one likes to keep them selves to them selves

works for me

last time i got to know my nabors well we had a war over boundaries

best keep your self to your self
if you keep yourself to yourself, Im guessing you want us to do the work then...?
Question Author
not att all i want the police to do the job ( to be able to do the job ) that we all pay the fore
there is nothing we can do about the police, all you can do is take your issue up with your local MP and at the polls when that time comes.

you are lucky that you are shielded from the worst
Well if you wish a return to the olden days and their oh so perfect morals (I'd question that personally, but what the hey...) I'd suggest you practice what you're trying to preach here DustyPuss.

Falling out with ya neighbours and not speaking to them for 5 years is showing a lack of community spirit and dare I say respect?

I'm not getting at you honest...lol, but it does seem that you're happy enough to moan about our society but not prepared to actually do anything about it.
there are a lot worse places to live
