No, of course not!

Even if they've made themselves homeless, there is always a reason, wicked stepmother/dad, bullying husband or money problems so that they have lost their home.

I admire people like this who can run away from abuse, rather than stay and take it time after time.
lets put this thread to bed. The answer to your question is : yes and no. There you go. No furthur answers needed. I bid you good night.

I am ex-homeless and my situation was not self inflicted. I was not a druggie and although I used to be a drinker I have not touched a drop for 4 years.

We were homeless through someone nicking a whole load of cash from my account. The police could not help, the local council would not help and neither would my bank.

We came close twice to being homeless, but it was through no fault of our own.

It is scary Misundrstood but I am glad you were ok and were not forced onto the streets. It is rough out there!
No it is not always deserved, I got to know an alcholic in London a few years back, he was being beaten up near waterloo station I gave the two lads a thump and helped him, it turned out he used to work in the city (stock exchange) had lost his family, it was very sad, so he started drinking and ended up living rough, but that bloke was a really nice , who couldn't handle his family having all gone. still makes me abit sad when I think of him, all I will say is, " There but for the grace of God, goes I "
