Off my head? Really? :-)

This is what I don't get. When the Daily Mailers go off their heads, people argue against what they say and have a bit of a debate with them.

When someone you disagree with speaks up, you think they're denying your right to free speech.

Is it because you're worried what you're saying won't stand up to argument?

When someone says you're being racist, for example, they're not gagging you. They're criticising what you've said. If you think you're not being racist, tell them why. If you can't do that, maybe they've got a point?

This site would be nothing if people didn't argue back. Rational debate is your friend - use it. Don't pick your ball up in a huff and go home.
Mandatory 5 years for carrying a knife - wouldn't want to be a chef then!

Seriously though, if you were about to be searched by a policeman and were carrying a knife, well you may as well use it on him - after all, you are going down for 5 years minimum anyway.

I assume that you tongue is firmly in your cheek Oneye, as i'd rather go to prison for carrying a knife, than to go to prison knowing I had murdered a policeman, thus making someone a widow and some children fatherless. Dont you?

You're remarks are ugly and untrue.

Shame on you.

I don't carry a knife and I don't think that these feral kids have the luxury of thinking through their actions.

If a young male is carrying a knife as a weapon, then there is a good chance that he will use it.

If a policeman stops that youth, do you think in that split second, that the youth will be in a position to make a rational decision as to whether he should try and run; use the weapon or just say ' fair cop', that'll be me in prison then officer.

Oh, Cherie Blair says it is, so it must be true.

If Cherie Blair was to jump off a cliff.....

...... we'd all be happy ;-)
