Only 12 Hours after the anglican church has said they will have women bishops , the vatican has issued a press release in which IT APOLOGISES FOR THE ANGLICAN CHURCHES DECISION TO HAVE WOMEN BISHOPS.
Yet we still await a press release from them about the children male and female abused by priests in the catholic church.

I believe they may be considering jumping ship to Roman Catholicism under the jurisdiction of the Vatican.
What exactly are you waiting for in regards child abuse? Have you asked for something? A press release was made in this respect after a Vatican final communique in 2002, calling it an "appaling sin". Sadly they cannot change the past, so what is it you seek?

I have an IQ the size of Mexico. But I can't tell sincerity in a press release. However, the church in the USA alone has paid out $2 billion in settlements, so I expect they're pretty regretful.
Percentage of proven abuser priests: 0.2% (2 in 1,000), according to Wikipedia, so it doesn't seem particularly outrageous - in fact I suspect it's not that much more than in the population at large.
