would you give it all up? WOULD YOU?

CRIME,there is no real solution as whiffey said,superlong sentences such as those in america just seems to create a supercriminal that will try and get away from the police whether it means hijacking,kidnapping,stabbing shooting,wreckless driving,murder etc..... in some of the arab countries where everything is banned serious crimes are really low,now my question is would you give up going out,alcohol,cigarrettes,gambling etc........(basically laws like islamic countries) in order to get drugs,thugs,knives and guns off the streets? or would you say sod it,let me keep our vices and we'll deal with the crime? Hhmmmmm....................
