Has anybody had a big win or small win on a scratchcard recently? What is the most you have won on one? I bought an Olympic Champions scratchcard earlier on today and I won a massive prize of.................................. ............................wait for it..................................................... ...........15 Yes,fifteen pounds. Mind you, I did win around 34 a few weeks ago on a scratchcard.. The biggest amount I won was just 50 which was many years ago.I did win on the Euromilllion too....23.20
you dont actually ''win'' anything do you?when you work out what you spend, unless you win thousands or millions of pounds the outlay what you spend on these things far outweighs any ''winnings'' you may have.............
That's very true stokemaveric!!
Some people spend an absolute fortune on the lottery.
I remember queueing up behind this man quite some time ago, and he bought at least 15 or so scratchcards which were about 2 a time.Talk about an avid gambler!
I'm very careful how much I spend these days.I don't always have a go on the midweek draw.
the football team who i used to play for imhotep a couple of years ago had a syndicate we saved any winnings, the odd 10.00 here and there and even a couple of 4 number wins we amassed 160.00 and we decide to have 160 lucky dips on the xmas 2006 draw....and do you know how much we won?..................nothing........i kid you not....not a single penny, that just shows you what a rip off this lottery is.....
my ex-father-in-law won an 18k Astra on a scratchcard. he didn't drive and gave the car to 1 of his 4 kids. it started all manner of problems, stupid man!
i got 1 and won 1 pound, so i back to same shop swapped it another one and won 1 pound again, so i swapped another card again, i won 5 pounds, in the end i swapped those 5 pounds to 5 cards but this time didnt get a penny:((
Never mind the scratch card, i have been playing the lottery every wed and sat for the past 3 and a half years with the same numbers and havent even won 10 (although 3 of my numbers finally came up the one week i forgot to put it on in all those years - typical- thank god it was just 10 and noty a big win).
I agree with all of you about this lottery business by Camelot.
Wasn't there a controversy at one time when Camelot applied to renew their contract, and then Richard Branson was interested to step in and take over?
Hmm,I can't remember for sure about this.
Good idea to buy from a new roll of scratchcards though!
