Maddie 'sighting'!

If you think you have just seen Maddie, wouldn't you have called the police asap?

Also chocolate isn't exactly an uncommon flavour!

These 'sightings' can be damaging, either 1) they are likely to result in a wild goose chase or 2) if it is Maddie, making the sightings so public are surely to drive her captors away??

Actually no, this is from today! Yesterday's link wasn't about the 'ice-cream thing'!

I think youre missing the point. The name Maddie in a story will sell papers.
When the contents of the police files were released with info about "sightings" some of the very same papers that have already had to pay out damages regarding this case were headlining stories "Maddie Sighted" , what you didnt find out until after you had been fooled into buying the paper was that these old rumours and her parents had dismissed the sightings.

It was explicitly clear, the papers were trying to make out that Maddie had just been seen and that it was a new sighting.

These papers will never learn, they are happy to lie, make up stories etc, as long as the damages they pay are less than sales, they will keep on doing it.

I was just about to put up same link Ethel, seems that it was too good to be true!

Same as was said by another person on a similar thread: Everyone who is seen with a girl who looks like Maddie will be under scrutiny!

I can't imagine what all of these ups and downs are doing to the Mccans!
