Russian General Threatens to Nuke Poland
8 Answers
The Russians today threatened to nuke Poland.
If this occurred, the EU must go to war in retaliation (this is covered in various EU treaties), with the US involved too as co-members of NATO, and the Ukraine also on the EU side (today offering to open their missile defence schemes to Europe).
Interesting times ahead, people.

Things Cameron does not want you to know about
--------------------------------------------------------------------
When elected he will follow Poland's example and site missiles in the UK also allowing us to be a nuclear target of the Russians. Is this what we want? Until the end of the Cold War the British could not sleep soundly in their beds for over 40 years because of the threat. He will not need parliament approval and even if he did his expected Conservative majority will carry the day. Forget trips to Greenland on his ice sleigh the public should be informed of his intentions before election time.

Just like Blair, Cameron will be a stooge of the American administration. He obviously has no faith in Europe! All this posturing about tackling the Russians head on. Doesn't he realise that Sarcozy of France who holds the EU presidency was negotiating on Europe's behalf and he puts his oar in. His utterings exactly mirror those of the USA. Don't be led up the garden path again for gawd's sake.
The USA has an accountable and comparatively well-scrutinised government. It's easy to just focus on the presidency but there's so many levels of it you just don't see or hear about. You can yack on about Guantanamo all you like, I'm not saying the US is perfect, or even that it's not done some pretty shameful things over the years but it's a much better deal than any of the other great powers on the table.
Russia on the other hand, has a bloated government in the hands of a man who can only be described as a belligerent thug who has brutally repressed opposition at home and actively murders his own citizens for political reasons. Again, I don't care how many times you draw comparisons with USA aggression (bad as it is), Russia is far, far, far worse.
