Is there a way to get Justice?

Believe it or not, I have had friends offered to do things like that for free but have declined all offers.

sorry but you will be wasting your time, i've been there and gone though it all, the courts dont want to know preferring to make you bankrupt so it clears their books and gives you a stigma for life, I now earn �42,000 a year but it makes no difference here, the best thing you can do is go to america, a totally different attitude prevails there.

i have skimmed through your link - as it names someone you may have it removed. I also think that conmen can only con the connable, and from what i can gather you were willing for him to defraud the grants system from your local council (taxpayers money?) so you could be paid more for the job than what it was worth?. You also continued to work at your own expense when you could have got out with a 3000 pounds loss.
As postdog says, you have had 22 years of bitterness, all affecting your own life and health and doing nothing to his. Isnt it time to let it go?

I think the short answer is 'no'. I have reviewed it all. Sometimes miscarriages of justice do occur. Unfortunately one has to get on with one's life.
You appear to allege certain things in this question and in the material in the link. Please be aware of the laws of libel and be careful.
Although it doesn't help now, the best advice I can offer is:
Think about how much is already lost before pursuing a claim, versus how much it may cost (money and energy) to try and recover the situation. Then think about what might happen if one loses the case - even when one firmly believes one is in the right.
I will confess to not understanding how an initial debt for a four-figure sum (say around �8000) ends up with you losing your own home.

I thank you for your response buildersmate. Believe me. there is nothing that I would like more than to be sued for libel before a judge and A JURY.
Together with so many others that I know of, our only hope of justice is before a jury of our peers as laid down a great many years ago in the Magna Carta.
