Following on from a question in chatterbank I've come here to ask a serious question regarding students and work in the sex trade.
Look at the link here to the times online.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_styl e/education/student/article3396280.ece

Does anyone here know of anyone , either directly ,or indirectly through a friend of a friend who has or knows anyone who has done this?

The newspaper article says 8% of students in the UK are actually doing this at the moment.
Is this in your opinion just a figure plucked out of the air or do you think its a true representation of students and their ways of raising money for their education without taking out a student loan ?

Serious answers or none at all please.

well, it says their last survey produced a figure of 6% and they expect it to rise. Statistically, that's nonsense; it may rise or it may not, but if they haven't counted them yet then the figure is still 6% and it's a bit unprofessional to say otherwise. Which leaves me wondering if their methods are statistically sound. The article doesn't say and the Times is not an entirely reliable newspaper these days since it went tabloid. So the trend might be correct but the figures wrong.

No, I don't know anyone doing it.
