I posted a question here because I am extremely worried about afriend of my wife who has been caught up in a scam that could ultimately mean her paying with her life or all her family and friends losing all they have to pay ransom. It was accidentally posted initially under Business & Finance as I hit the wrong header. It hasn't been banned there. But why should it have been banned at all? It is a legitimate question we're desperate to get help with.
Answerbank has an automatic filter to detect duplicate posts. It works irrespective of the categories under which the question is posted. It's designed to prevent 'cross-posting' of questions over several categories (which is a breach of AB's rules).
So the removal of your question is nothing personal. It's simply AB's software doing its job.
