Wisdom Teeth!!
8 Answers
I have woken up this morning to a dull pain in the back of the left hand side of my mouth. My jaw is aching as well. I take it this is my wisdom tooth trying to come through. I dont have a dentist and nor can I afford to pay for it. Im 23 and live in a flat on my own and could really do without the extra costs.
Just because it is sore at the moment does that mean I have to have them removed? Or is it bound to be a bit sore if my teeth are trying to come through?
Thanks in advance!!

there are only 3 nhs charges now - around 16:50 for a check up (including xrays and basic scale and polish)
around 45 pounds for any number of fillings+ root canal
Around 191 pounds for anything that involves lab work ie dentures or crown etc. If you need1+2 you only pay the fee for 2. If you need 1 2 and 3 you only pay the fee for 3.
If you are on a low income and on certain benefits, everything is free anyway.

I have 2 wisdom teeth and the 3rd has been coming through for months but is not moving at the moment! Its horrible isn't it? I know exactly how babies feel now when they are teething. I actually chewed on a teething ring like a baby and used bonjela! Like others have said it doesn't mean you will have to have them removed. Mine are fine and give me no trouble now, its just when they break through the gums it hurts.
Hi i don't know how relevant this is but a couple of weeks ago my wisdom tooth really hurt on the left hand side. I think it had partly come through, but it really hurt to open my jaw-it turned out i had an infection and the dentist prescribed me antibiotics to help clear it up. They worked and its fine now, but if it starts up again i might have to have it taken out.
