I reckon Bidden and Ombala are red hot -in the last I in 8 elections the Repubulicans have left a deficit in the US wheras in the 1yr there was a Democrat President (Clinton) -he left them with a healthy balance.

So in the main -who do you think -given that in the long term it affects us -Bidden -fight to the death - Pailin -Middle America- safe -not much experience -I know who I would go for and cant wait for the show down tomorrow.

What do you think??? After all this is potentally gonna be cruacial in the election of the next US President-and also our lives in a backhanded way!!

Clinton did not leave with an healthy balance, he increased the deficit.

It was $4.6Trillion in his first year and $5.6Trillion in his last.

Bush has managed to increase that to $10Trillion.

Clint served 8 years as President and increased the US National debt by $1 trillion

In Bush's 8 years he has increase the National Debt by $4.4 trillion.

I would prefer the Democrats to win. The Republicans usually (in recent history) take the country to war.

Clinton left a debt, but at the time of leaving office the US had balanced the annual budget and were paying off the debt (albeit very slowly). This may be causing the confusion.

Thanks Trotbot -I didnt think I had misheard the convo we were having THAT much.Still confused but I dont want to be cos it seems more exciting there than here plus whatever happens there affects us more than whatever happens here -phew !!!!!!!!!!
