I suspect they will be out and in another relastionship and having more children before long and once again the social services will be helping them out by doing nothing at all.

If I had my way they would never be able to breed again, mainly because they would all be doing the Sadam shuffle.

But what do we do in this pathetic country. We protect them by not naming and shaming them.

And where were the social workers? Are they being prosecuted? They should be. If an employer causes the death of an emplyeee negligently they find themselves up before the beak.

Just watching this on the news now - there seem to have been so many errors and this poor little mite could possibly have been saved if some of the "experts" had acted properly. It keeps happening though and obviously the systems in place are not working.
As for the people accused , I hope they suffer

Just seen this on the news. How can they say that one childs murder is worse than another. Victoria Clumbiye (sp) died in the hands of child abusers and so did this little child. They are both as sickening as each other. I want to know why Social Services have yet again failed to recognise abuse going on under their noses.

And they should be hanged. There is no doubt as to who has commited this murder so its a clear cut case as far as I'm concerned.

Lessons to be learnt blah,blah,blah-as usual nothing is done until another child dies in horrific circumstances,if the social services cant or wont do this job why isn,t the responsibility and finances handed over to the NSPCC?

I saw this on the channel 4 news tonight and it just broke my heart. That poor, dear little boy. I am beyond words .. those disgusting people. Such B*ll**s from social work dept about being overworked - how could anyone leave the office n go home at night knowing that little kid was being so dreadfully abused?? I hope it haunts them to their graves.

The way I read it is the boyfriend is guilty of the mutilation and murder but the other man is guilty by association. This new law can't pin the blame on the actual culprit so each has to be found guilty. The Mother could not have had any feelings toward the child and just protected the murderer.

What about the doctor who did not pick up on broken ribs and back? Unbelievable. And only 3 people will get 'letters'! How could the child minder allow the wee boy to go back to his house every night with those injuries? What is wrong with people?
