SOmeone on News said that Britain and USA are actually pretty tight on security just now so its pretty hard to attack these nations just now.

therefore other countries are now targets and India is quite an easy target in terms of border control there is lots of open ways into the country.

Oh sorry did I pucture the whole premise of the question that such terrorism is characteristic of Muslim fundamentalists?

I could also point to hostage taking by Maoists in Nepal or Shining Path in Peru or dozens of other places.

To answer the question - obviously no country is immune from terrorism of any kind - that's pretty obvious to anybody I'd have thought

I would have thought attacks like this could happen anywhere, I have not seen anything that suggests it is an "Indian" problem

I've just seen the pictures of this atrocity on the Daily Mail website and they are horribly graphic. Those poor people who were just enjoying their holidays and such were slaughtered in the name of someone's idea of religion and politics.It is just so sad.
