when will this rubbish stop being broadcast?how must the british public feel being patronised to by a billionaire woman on how she ''feels'' for her subjects during the credit crisis?....she doesnt give a damn,as she sits in her palaces being waited on hand and foot, eating the finest foods and enjoying lavish gifts.the term ''let them eat cake'' springs to mind......she doesnt give a toss.....
If it was'nt for the Queen we would'nt have Stanley Baxter.
On a serious note (for quite a serious question) the majority of the most successful and stable democracies are monarchist.
hi everton, but surely the last thing we want as many, many families are struggling to make ends meet and with the fear of redundancy looming [if indeed it hasnt already happened] is the queen standing in 1 of her many palaces with a necklace and earrings on worth millions, saying that she feels sorry for her ''subjects''.......indeed not 1 of her best xmas speeches.....
Bet if she did it weraing a Stoke City scarf saying stuff the Mancs tomorrow as she's got a tenner on yous, you'd be saying God bless yoa your majesty! LOL
She never would though I heard she supports Port Vale.
at the end of the day i dont want to hear the ramblings of a deluded ,out of touch, rich, untouchable being......ohhh sorry that was the queen i was watching and not the madman on c4..................................
lol everton now go and wash your mouth out and dont ever say port vale ever again.......lol....and jj i will have a look at your tips now....AND I SAID TIPS.....lol............
stokemaveric,,,you are absolutely right, give me Lenin, Stalin, Pop Pot or Mugabi any old time, they know how to share their wealth and suffering with the peasants.........good luck with your tips......especially Stoke to bear Man Utd...LOL
123everton - she supports Port Vale? Are you sure you're not confusing her with Robbie Williams?
One is a filthy stinking rich, pampered queen who contributes nothing of any use and is rarely listened to any more, the other one...ah, you're probably ahead of me already. ;-)
I think the same idea works when watching any programme, use the zapper and switch channels. years ago when there were only 2 (then 3) channels it was on all of them at the same time, but we always watched BBC cos TOTP was on at 2pm. I always watch it, can't remember a year missing it, I like the way she interprets her year compared to ours
brionon, unless I am very much mistaken, the Queen's Christmas Message has been broadcast at 3pm on Christmas Day for many years now.
Considering the comment was "at the end of the day i dont want to hear..."is it beyond the wit and wisdom of an adult to do something else rather than watch the broadcast and then mump about the contents if it was something that stokemaveric didn't want to do in the first place?
