Ken Bigley's tragic death
6 Answers
what i cannot comprehend is the pitiful references to a 'city united in grief' references to Liverpool. Why is the scouse cliche book opened everytime anything involving a liverpudlian hits the headlines. Unless these people all know ken personally, why is it more a liverpool problem than a uk one? Can a middle aged family man from London not empathise to the same degree as a scouser? If Ken Bigley was from bromley would there be so much reference to his community at home? The Bigley family have my full sympathy.

You have an answer to your own question, 'Can a middle-aged man from London....' No a london man cant have as much empathy and that is why there is an outcry in Liverpool and not further south. And that is why you have noticed and commented on it.
Come up and visit. You will find Liverpool and Manchester very friendly places.
