Pride/Ego - Any ever called your bluff?

I remembered over xmas i got a credit card charge....Normally if you ring up and ask them nicely they will reverse the charge (Halifax)

Well.....

I called them up as usual and was like can you reverse the charge, and the guy was like 'no' we have done it too many times, i was like fine, cancel the card hoping that would work, and now i have no credit card he called my bluff...

My Question: Has any telephone person ever called your bluff and annoyed you, like sky/phone contract etc and you have been too proud to stop them halfway through?

No....has I would never have the bottle to try and get charges reversed unless it was 100% the banks fault. That has only happened once in my whole sad sorry life.....
