The answer is 'yes' to all of these. Duane Eddy, along with Chuck Berry, has been a major influence in the popularity of the electric guitar. His hey day was in the 50s and 60s, although he enjoyed a brief burst of new fame when his 'Peter Gunn' was re-worked by The Art Of Noise. Duane is 64, and he lives in Nashville, and he continues to play - has last studio album was 'Ghost Riders' released in 1998 on Curb Records, and he contributes to two songs on Doyle Dukes' 'Country Fried Pickin'' album which was released last month. Anyone who knows Duane Eddy's sound will agree with his lifelong motto "The twang's the thang!"
