Why is everyone condemning her as racist, when nobody knows which player she was talking about and therefore whether the player does in fact bear resemblance to a golliwog?

I used to love the jam with the Golliwog label on, or was it marmalade?
So if I claimed a 'white' tennis player looked like a cabbage patch kid, could they sue me?
Or a soldier looked like 'action man'?
The problem with political correctness is that we can legislate to stop people speaking, but nothing short of brainwashing can stop them thinking. This is just another silly PC storm in a teacup, and shame on the troublemaker who brought it to light.

She didn't just think it, she said it. She was unpopular, so this was an ideal way of getting rid of her.
Who was unpopular Gromit? Mrs Thatcher was so unpopular that she got re-elected TWICE. I wish we could bring back shooting in the Tower for back-stabbing traitors like you.

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm gagging to find out who she could be referring to. Does anyone here follow tennis?

Hilarious knobbsworth, do you have a view, or should you maybe stick to beating up trolls which you do so effectively.

Nope, sorry sp1814. I tried putting a photo of a golliwog into myheritage.com's celebrity facial match program, but the algorithm didn't find a face in the photo of the golliwog. Alas.

Gormless - you're being a little over-aggressive and I can't see why. Don't you think that the term 'traitor' is a bit over the top?
