South Africa used to be a haven for racists, do they all inhabit the UK now?

I assume you are refering to the G******* comment made today by Carol Thatcher.
Well it was not that long ago that a famous Jam company used to give away G******* stickers and you could save them up and get a G******* metal badge. I had them as a kid.
It was not that long ago that the BBC had a TV show called the Black and White Minstrals where all the black men were white people blacked up.
I remember an episode of Only Fools and Horses where Uncle Albert said he had been down the P*ki shop.
These, and many other things, were said and done for years with nobody worrying.
Now it seems the goalposts have moved, and making any statement that could even remotely be considered racist is probably the worst thing you can do.
But Welsh people are stilled Taffy, and Scots people are still called Jock, the Aussie's call us Poms, and so on.
But we dont get all up in arms about it. It is pathetic.

One extra thing.....
I live in the Midlands and happened to tune my car radio on to BBC Asian radio station a few months ago (hang on, isn't having a radio station just for Asians racist?).
Anyway, these Asians were discussing what they would do if their daughter came home with a black man.
You should have heard the racist comments and insulting things said about black people by Asians on that program.
And nobody on the station thought it was wrong make such negative and dispariging comments about black people.
So we "whites" have to walk on eggshells, but it seems ethnic minorites can say what they like.

Where is the love?

My soul gravitates to love y'all ;-)
With love there are no colours better than any another- all are equal, all valid, all beautiful in their own brilliant way- like a rainbow.Love makes all colours merge into one yet all distinct at the same time- part of a wondrous kaleidoscope. Not sure if racists are a minority in the UK- wish that were so + pray for the day to come in my life time where race will not be a dividing issue anywhere on this globe. Praying for deep peace, deep love + deep truth to spread like wildfire among this nation/world.
Warmest wishes, Bea :-)
