hi. ok this is my story! 1 nite myself and my fella were drinking wit some others!
we all had a lot to drink! one of the guys that were there was starting a fite wit my fella, so my fella lashed out at him! the two of them began to fite, the other guy tried to hit back but it was pointless as my fella was to gud for him! so the other guy ran into his mums house still shoutin abuse at my fella so my fella followed him in to the house and began to beat him, his mum was there and also his exwife! his mum claimed that my fella and i also asalted her which we did not! so police did not charge us for this! we were arested from friday till monday both me and me fella we had to go to court to get bail! we got bail from the magistrates court but now have to go to crown court to entry a plea! at the magistrates court we were charged wit gbh section 18! 2 months later the police have reduced that to a abh! because the other guy only had two black eyes and a bruised ear! no broken bones!! im ok my solicitor has told me casue i didnt do anything so mine are gonna be droped! as for my fella he is 18 years old he has never never ever been in troble wit the police before! and we have also just found out that we are havin a baby together! can anyone please tell me what to expect as in prison or not? please be honest!!!! thanks to everyone who helps......

The sentencing guidelines for a first time offender convicted of ABH suggest a 'starting point' sentence of a 'high' community order. The magistrates (or judge) then have to move that sentence up or down (if necessary) according to the circumstances, with the lowest available sentence being a 'medium' community order and the highest possible sentence being 26 weeks custody.

However, those sentences apply to someone convicted after a trial. An early guilty plea should see the sentencing range skewed downwards, so the chances are that your b/f will be given a community order. (The possibility of prison seems to be extremely remote).

First of all bad-girl, please don't use texting type on this site. It is too hard to read as there are no full stops, capitals, correct spelling and the like.
Secondly, you say this is your boyfriends first offense. Well how could he have had any prior offense? He is far too young. Lets hope this is the first & last time he acts like a complete tw@t showing off in front of his girlfriend & mates in a drunken state.
As for what sort of sentence he is looking at - it's hard to tell. A lot will depend on his behaviour when he appears in front of the judge.
Thirdly, how did you get pregnant? Have you not heard of contraception?

you both sound like a pair of pillocks and i truly hope you will get what coming to you (but i seriously doubt it in this day and age - the court system is a joke!). the sad thing is, someone with the (poor) judgement and lack of brain cells (who thinks it's cool that your fella fites!) you so obviously have is going to bring yet another child into the world that will more than likely follow in your astounding footsteps. god help us all...should we not have a discussion here about mandatory sterilisation?

The 2 black eyes & bruised ear are very serious injuries. You can't say "only"!

And you can't use the excuse of being "drunk." You can't use any excuse - being tw@ts is obviously what you both are.
