How low this country has sunk

There is a court case going on at the moment about the stabbing of a 18 year old boy Rob Knox (as it is an ongoing case I make no reference to the case).

But the person charged is Karl Bishop.

A Search in Google for Karl Bishop finds a site called ghettobraggingrights (Ghetto Bragging Rights) which thankfully has been closed down (although you can still see the title of some of the articles that were on it).

This web site was used by people (who live in the ghetto one presumes) to "brag" about crimes that they, or people that they know, have committed.

The stabbing of Karl Bishop was on that site, and people were bragging about it (I have seen the text on other sites).

What sort of awful sick society have we produced in this country.

This is not the England I was born in and grew up in, to be honest I dont think I want anything more to do with it.

How much lower can we sink.

Unfortunaltely VHG I think it can get much worse and I'm afraid it will. And we can thank the do-gooding, left wing activists for it.
It starts at school age when kids have no respect and are out of control and because they get away unpunished they grow up to be thugs. They know they are untouchable and, my god, do they know how to play the system.
There is no deterant for criminals any more. Bad behaviour is rewarded not punished.
Whoever said "can the last person to leave Britain please turn off the lights" they were spot on. Unless we go back to basics and bring back some serious deterants.

This is never going to happen, not when we live in a country where the 'leftys' think it is a much more serious crime to call someone a Golly, use the 'N' or 'P' word, than 'Gang rape', 'Gun Crime' or 'knife crime'.

There are so many more important priorities we should get right first in this country.

With a bit more thought, you'd find that it's perfectly possible to be against gang rape, knife crime and gun crime as well as corrosive, casual racism. It's not an either/or.

Have a sit down and mull it over.

As for the bragging story, welcome to the age of mass communication. If the internet had been around in the 70s, you'd have seen this then as well. And in your heart of hearts, you know it.

Really harsh sentences are ineffective and just satify right-wing blood lust which is fair enough but you should at least be honest about it.

Incidently in my capacity of testing various security products I've had to visit some of the more unsavory parts of the net and if you think that's bad you're real innocent.

But few are British - this country is far less sick than other places.

People have alway been like this though it's just in the past it was easier to shield yourself in a nice little cosy ignorance and not have to think it existed.

How much lower, pick a level and start digging.
I work with the public, and there are some real psychos out there now.
I'm all for reform and education so long as it's prison.
And as to whether they thought about what they're doing, no they don't, they don't care, they'll kill you and still not care, they'll ask you to help them when they're in trouble and then when the police turn up they'll say they know nothing about it all.
By the time they get to carrying knives etc. it's too late for them, but it might'nt be too late for his friends and that's why they should imprison them.
