Racism has lost meaning. Watching BBC London News right now, it is almost suggested that Stephen Lawrence's death was the FAULT of the Met Police.

The solution is simple - there must be an accelerated recruitment and promotion route based on positive discrimination until the majority of the London police force at all levels is Black or Asian. Nothing else will satisfy these dangerous bigots. Crime levels can then be brought down to those of Jamaica.

It wasn't meant to be funny? Just Realism. An interview with Nick Ferrari on LBC this morning with one of these enlightened race relations workers...... There has just been a black-on-black shooting (am I allowed to say that?), the police stop a car full of black youths, and they are not allowed to be nervous or confrontational, they have to be all "oh hello, sorry to have stopped you, I expect you were going shopping and this is awful of us but...". Also, police have to stop an equal number of middle-aged white people, who are well-known gun criminals. You have to keep the equality thing going. The alternative suggested by the interviewee, if the police weren't kinder ("respect" I suppose) to the black yoofs, would be a revolution against authority.
