I do not mind anyone criticizing my posts, but you along with others will continue to take what I say completely out of context, just to ridicule me in some way, hence this passage from your post:
As usual, your need to push your jingoistic viewpoints about soliders and foreigners has to be hung on any thred - however inapropriate such a point may be.
(I know some spellings are wrong, but I just copied and pasted your text).
I wasn't trying to equate the loss of a child with the deaths of soldiers? What I was trying to get over was the fact that all those politicians were hanging their heads down in grief over the death of that child.
These are the same individuals that don't think twice about sending our troops to be killed while fighting in wars that we should not be fighting.
You have no need to keep coming up with that same old chestnut, that 'soldiers sign up voluntary'.Yes this is quite correct, but you also accuse them of killing others in a country where they have no business. This fact is out of their control.
A soldier also has to obey orders, they have no control over who's land they are in, or who they kill. No the one's that do have control over these matters are those very same people who were there in the 'House' with heads bowed and condolences being aired, for one of their fellow hypocrite's late child.
This in no way makes the death of this poor child of no importance, the death of anyone is important, and it is time these hypocrites acknowledged this, when they send other's Son's or Daughters out to be killed unnecessarily
Will they, with their heads bowed in a show of respect, be on the Tarmac of RAF Briz Norton the very next time those union flag draped coffins arrive?
