Well, I'm up. I've had as much sleep as I dare. If I close my eyes now, I'll probably end up being asleep when the taxi gets here at 3.00.

So ... I'm having a coffee, checking my stuff over again (as you do), and ...

Hey, look !!! Liverpool won. Yaayyy. As some of you may know, I had �20 on them to win. I got 12/5, so that's (cogs turn slowly) ... �48? Well, that's jolly.

Oh, here's something fab to watch, that I'm going to miss. The final game in the 2009 Netball series between England (ranked 3rd in the World) and Jamaica (ranked 4th). It starts at 7pm tonight. I think it's on Sky Sports 3. It will be worth watching. England v Jamaica games are always fab. At the last Commonwealth Games, we shared the Bronze medal with the Sunshine Girls, and there was never more than 1 point between the teams during the whole match.

Try to watch it. It will be really exciting. And I've got a very jolly bet on England. If you're not a Netball fan yet ... you will be if you watch this game.

So anyway ... I could go for a walk now (no ... silly).

Put some washing on? (no ... cleaning lady's done it all).

Is anything on telly this early in the morning?

7 hours from now, I'll be in Switzerland ... Woo Hooo !!

Hey, just stop me if I'm rambling, guys !!

Perhaps the taxi will be early.

I think I'll get a shower. Yes, that's it.

Methinks that there is only you and me in ABland. I was wakened by fighting moggies under my bed and can't get back to sleep.

I have a friend who's son has a villa in Switzerland and she thinks that it is a fantastic country. She goes hiking too - the 84yr olds version of hiking. She always returns to Scotland totally invigorated.

Have fun on your holiday. I am going to Nottingham for mines!

tamborine ... I shan't be doing the Cresta. In fact, I think that a good reason for not going to St Moritz is so that you don't get cajoled into doing the Cresta Run, LOL.
