I was appalled recently by the case of the teenagers who tried to roast 2 tiny little puppies on a bonfire. What would you do with these sickos if you had two minutes in a room with them?

Can you think of a suitable punishment?

Two minutes wouldn't be long enough.
is this an answer to my have we run out of good questions post?
I just can't comprehend how so called human beings can do such a thing. They HAVE to be mentally disturbed.
Yeah it involves my kitchen blow torch and a tender part of their anatomy. See how they like roasted bits.

I totally agree!

They should be marched into the centre of town so that the public could show them exactly what they think of them!!
two minutes would be plenty of time for me, i can guarantee they would never repeat their sick act again.
They cant've been brought up in homes where love and respect've been taught. It was horrible reading about it.
what can you do?

I just love my little dog so much, and could never harm a hair on his head. He drools all over my lap when I'm eating, steals my things, jumps on the bed for a cuddle in the mornings and licks my face to death. My father is constantly nagging about how animals should not be given special treatment, but I totally disagree with him.
My Alfie was abandoned in the old town of Oliva and according to the vet who first examined him, he hadn't had a square meal in 8 weeks. He was also infested with every parasite you could imagine and his hair had fallen out in big clumps from being so malnourished. He had a hip injury consistent with being thrown from a moving car.
I've had him 3 years now and the love he has given me in return is indescribable.
If I ever saw anyone abusing an innocent little animal, I'd kick ten coins out of them!
A very similar thing happened to one of my dogs. She was ill-treated, covered in sore, fleas and as thin as a whippet when I first saw her. She was taken to a rescue home, and I went back and bought her. She's a Staffie, and so docile and loving these days. She follows me around, "talking" to me. If you treat them properly, all dogs are good dogs.
Animals are such wonderful things, aren't they? They just don't hold grudges against us humans, even when they would clearly be entitled to. They just seize the moment and give their absolute trust to whoever gives them love and care, even if some scumbag mistreated them in the past. Nobody should ever abuse that beautiful trust.
if anything human touched my wee cat i would kill them!!!
Too right. Animals trust us like children do. If someone can hurt one, then they could hurt the other.
what worries me is if they do this to a animal what will they do to a human?
I agree. As I just said before you, I'd be very wary of anyone who displayed signs of cruelty to animals.
That's the point, Ice and Puddi, they have to be mentally disturbed. We are right to worry about what they could do to children, because that kind of person likes to prey on anything that is smaller and weaker than them. Cruelty towards animals is a usual early sign of sociopathic tendencies. If the parents can't put them straight, I think those kids need psychological help.
So do I max. They're probably witnessed violence in the home, either directed at another human being or towards animals anyway, so they don't see what's wrong with their actions, but I think some of these people are just very disturbed individuals.

Why the hell do the sickos that perpetrate such vile and reprehensible acts upon innocent little creatures get such lenient sentences? It's almost as sick as the cruelty itself.
The laws are antiquated, full stop. You could lobby your MP about these matters, but until some of those who have the power to change things actually witness these acts first-hand, there's about as much chance of reform as watching the sun go out.
I am afraid that until the powers that be start to give these sick people a long jail sentence, we will keep hearing about this type of abuse on animals, the law does not seem to regard animals as very important, in my view animal abuse should be treated the same as human abuse,
