It appears that Fres the Shred has finally had some cumuppance.
Given that the law and the Government appear powerless to deal with this piece of scum is it right for this to happen?
Is this the start of things to come ?
And given that the git has just ripped of the state for millions should the taxpayer be paying to defend his property? I doubt the old bill would post someone outside my home.

Sir Fred is no more "entitled" to extra protection than any other citizen. Broken windows generally elicit no more attention from the police than a phone call and pro forma report.
Yobbery should not be tolerated, but that's across the broad spectrum of society. If he wants ADDITIONAL protection he should do the same as the rest of us and PAY for it himself. You wouldn't get a cop stationed outside your house if you were subject to harrasment / vandalism by your neighbours, so what's the difference ?
