Royal Rule Change?
The government is to look again at the old male bias of primogeniture in the question of succession to the throne. They are also going to re-consider whether Catholicism should bar a person from the succession. Is it about time these changes were made or should we leave the system as it is?

I don't mind these Catholics living here as long as they integrate and don't try to impose their culture on us.
All you liberal lefties are just standing back while we change ancient rules and slowly eradicate our way of life and traditions, to suit them!
Of course if you say that, you're accused of being anti-Roman. I'm not! I'm just trying to preserve what's left of British society. Because mark my words, they are taking over and soon we'll be a Catholic state.
It's too late now anyway. The Catholicisation of this once great country is too far advanced. It's our children I fear for, living in a state where condoms are forbidden and meat is frowned upon on a friday.
Bye bye Britain. Welcome to Britaly.
etc etc etc

The new Act if passed would apply to the UK only and in there could be a different monarch in other Commonwealth countries where the current queen is Head of State. The Acts of Union would also be affected as Papists or those marrying Papists are barred from the throne under the Acts.
In theory as the current Queen Elizabeth is Queen of Scots and not Queen Elizabeth II, there could be a split in the monarchies of Scotland and the rest of the UK.
I can see there being problems in Ulster too wi the solution being a Union between Scotland and Ulster.

TCL:
Using the word "Papist" to refer to a Roman Catholic is as derogatory as the similarly offensive "n" word which racists use when describing a negro.
Yet I don't suppose you'd dare use that "n" word to a black person, nor for that matter, the word "Papist" to a Roman Catholic's face?
Keep your racist views to yourself.
