Watchdog highlighted this last year. Some people sustained horrendous injuries.
There's a High Court hearing taking place now about it.
Thank God we went to DFS last year!

We are awaiting delivery of a leather sofa - it isn't similiar to the one in the picture and was not bought from any of the stores mentioned .

It was bought from a local retailer - I have no idea if it is manufactured in China - How would i find out if the one we have bought is one of the ones affected ?

Bertie, When we bought ours a 3 pce suite it was from a local retailer like yours. We asked who the manufactuers were and were told all their leathers were made in Greece and the salesman showed us shipping details etc to prove it. Maybe you could ask for some proof at your store?
