Which brand for Waxing?!

I normally use Veet wax hair removal strips, the disposable type. They are ok, but not brilliant. Was wondering if anyone else had found a better brand?

I have recently heard about a type of wax that doesnt require strips - it sort of sets on your skin, then you rip it off when it's solidified. Wondered if this would be better?

I have also heard of a new brand called Hive, but it's not cheap so I would only buy it if someone could recommend it.

Any advice? What's your favourite brand and why?

Also, has anyone had a salon wax? If so, do they do a better job than you can do yourself at home?

Body Shop sugaring is good. You heat it up in the microwave, spread it on and then remove it with the fabric strips. Not cheap but it lasts for ages. My sister's a beauty therapist but I still do my own with this stuff. If you aren't brave enough, get a friend to help, it's easy.

Thanks, I've never tried sugaring as opposed to waxing but I'll give it a go if it's so good! Thanks!
