They've certainly got a damned sight more right to residence here than the x thousands of scumbags who have entered this country not only illegally but are then mysteriously allowed to stay by the same Government now trying to stop too many Gurkhas getting in because we supposedly would then have too many immigrants!

My point was that the government couldn't tell it's a**e from it's elbow. The Ghurkas should be welcome for what they did for us. The problem is that so many people are disillusioned on the whole concept of immigration that now, anyone who wants in is a threat.

I think this says it all, and in my humble opinion, these folk have more right to remain here than the scroungers who come here just to reap whatever they can get.
