Work that one out!

No need to spit out your dummy, Legend!
My point was that the government couldn't tell it's a**e from it's elbow. The Ghurkas should be welcome for what they did for us. The problem is that so many people are disillusioned on the whole concept of immigration that now, anyone who wants in is a threat.

I think this says it all, and in my humble opinion, these folk have more right to remain here than the scroungers who come here just to reap whatever they can get.
"Madan Gurung, 54, a Gurkha who served with the British Army for 24 years until he retired in 1993, is hoping he will now finally be able to put down roots in the UK.
At the moment he is staying with friends and well-wishers.
But he stresses he is not ill, does not want to settle here for benefits or free medical treatment, and wants to work.
"If I'd been given the right to stay here I'd be happy to serve the Crown again," he says.
"We are hardworking people."
