So the McCann's are going to sue the Portuguese police chief over comments made about dear Maddies disappearance. Who the hell do they think they are?? Parents who leave three children under the age of 4 alone should be locked up. As soon as they landed in the UK they should have been arrested for negligence and social services should have launched an enquiry, and they are still allowed to "care" for their twins, it beggars belief! I am so mad with them as parents and blame them totally, I was and still am so upset and disgusted with them for leaving their kids alone, in fact I have a recurring dream that I find Maddie whilst on holiday in Malta and bring her home safely (I truly wish this will come true in August).

Madeleine McCanns parents. If you can call them parents. Seems like they made it look like a family holiday, but really couldn't wait to get the kids in bed every night so they and their friends could all go and get bladdered on bottles of wine while their kids slept alone in an unlocked apartment EVERY NIGHT. And they are still caring for 3 year old twins. Disgusting.

How many times have we all done the same thing? be truthful, I am not condoning what they had done, neither an I saying it is right, how many of us have gone out shopping with the child in the car seat & popped in for a loaf etc, I think we all wish that Madeline could be found but time will tell, the way to stop this type of thing world wide is to castrate the basds that do it, I would for sure do it for free to the dirty basds who touch kids, but then you would have the Human Rights ar sols kicking off because you have deprived the scum from having children.

??Ok looks like some people may feel it OK to leave their kids... I wouldn't ... but how many mothers of a missing child abroad go and have their hair coloured at the local portuguese hairdressers 5 days after her daughter went missing........... sorry I would have been too distraught to even think about combing my hair and would have been searching the streets screaming my precious daughters name... not being pampered at the hairdressers!!!!

I agree 100% with everything you have said Denise - they did'nt just leave them 3 babies the night Madeline disappeared - they had been doing it for the whole of their 2 week holiday. Obviously their socal life was more important than the safey of those babies.

Putting aside the face that Madeline was abducted - did'nt they think of other dangers in the apartment - like the babies getting up, wandering about, falling, banging their heads etc. or EVEN wandering out of the UNLOCKED patio doors.

Exactly Den. Even the thought of the three kids waking up on holiday in a strange apartment without their mummy and daddy there is horrible, I agree their social lives were far more important than their three beautiful children. So sad, I know they have got to live with that on their conscience now, but I still find it so hard to feel sorry for them.

With respect Denise, Europe is a vast as you know, area, but what has been done in as you emphisise Portugal has been done by parent all over, yes I agree with what you say, But Is there anyone that comes on this site the BOTTLE TO ADMITT they have done the same thing???? I think if the truth be know there are one hell of a lot. I hope you do not think I am getting at you for your concern, but parents are parents, but these parents will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.

MADMAGGOT. Because it is THE LAW in the UK that children under the age of 14 (NOT 4) should not be left unattended???? It is the law for a reason... why the hell do they think they are above the law (even if they were in a different country), ...not all UK laws make sense but this one certainly does - shame the McCanns did not think so.. but thats something they will have to live with now I guess.
