Oneeyedvic, if you want to call me naive, thats your right, but open your eyes, apart from Mulims here, who incidently, have vowed to take over the country, you have the ones still coming in, also, they are the only relgious group that have stated they want to rule.

If we get a Muslim Pemier who subscribes to Sharia, how long do you think it'll be before the country is Muslim?.

As I said, I reckon about twenty years, but there'll be a lot of civil unrest before then.

And incidentally - as has been pointed out on other threads - Islam has been about for several hundred years - not doing a great job on the world domination are they?

The Muslims that run my 'Indian' Restaurant round the corner don't appear to have vowed to take over this country - can you tell me where I need to send them to rectify their obvious problem.

Incidentally - last time I was there was for a surprise party for our local Canon who was retiring. Don't think they managed to convert him either.

Lonnie- Do you really believe that only one PM (suppose Muslim) will impose Sharia law with his personal will?

First of all what about others around him in the govt? Just for curiosity sake, may I ask if same goes to Israeli PM, American President and other leaders too? I mean can they pass any law whatever they (personally) want.

Finally there are so many other countries that even write Islamic republic etc after their name. Where PM including all MPs etc are Muslims. Still none of them (in any country) have managed to bring in full Sharia law. So what makes you so sure about your scenario?

keyplus90, take a look at our goverment, since 1997, they've passed well over 1000 laws, and kept the top Parliamentary jobs mainly, Scottish, the also brought in 'Big Brother', and continue to do so.

No, it won't happen overnight, I'm saying about twenty years, but exactly when, who knows, but it will happen.

What happens in America, I couldn't care less, i'm talking about this country.

I don't actually know thet it will happen, i'm just saying I believe it will, and approximately when, If you or anyone else chooses not to subscribe to that belief, thats up to you.

As a matter of interest, how many people in 1938 diddn't believe this country would be at war in a matter of months, In the run up to the Falklands war, with all the signs that the Argentians were going to invade, how many do you think, never actually believed they would?.

I tend to think that this is just as serious.

Good point - how many MPs are required to pass law?

Well, to pass something like Sharia Law (which you can pretty much guarantee that no other politician would want), you would need 324 extreme Muslim MPs (and they would ave to be very extreme on the basis as Keyplus points out that no country has actually got Sharia Law despite overwhelming Muslim majorities)

Then of course you would need it to go through the Lords (though I concede parliament could use the Parliament Act, but then of course you would also need Royal accent. Doubt that would happen either.

but still, you carry on with your delusions.

There are millions of people who believe that dinosaurs didn't exist and that the earth was created 4000 year ago.

Personally, I would call these people delusional to.

Still, no arguing with them (or you) I guess since no matter what you can or can't prove with facts and figures, these people will still cling on to their beliefs....

Thats a silly statement, all that says, is that the people who agree think its true, but that can be for almost anything, but just because they think its true, doesn't mean it is, does it?.

Anyway, what I think will happen in about twenty years time, may or may not happen, I just happen to think it will.
