Dr Tiller did abortions of foetuses that had been found, through testing, to have severe defects.

I strongly believe that a mother should be able to have an abortion and that anti-abortion campaigners are extremely naive and ill-educated about the world we live in.

However I actually applaud bobthebandit for saying what he said and wish he, and all anti-abortionists, would go the whole hog and say that they believe it is a good thing that Dr Tiller is dead as he is a murderer and now he cannot murder any more fetuses which is what pretty much the whole world would say if Dr Tiller had systematically killed hundreds of adults or children.

This to me shows that they do not truly believe all their rhetoric that the life of an up to 20 week old fetus has the same sanctity as any life or they would have the guts to stand fully by what happened here.

Its the most ironic thing Ive ever read but its like that with all extremists wether it be animal welfare or climate change these people are morons as ll_billym sayst hey must be very naive about the world we live in,how could you be pro life then shoot someone in cold blood. Abortion is not something any women does lightly everybody has a diffferent sititation it amazes me how people could be so judemental without knowing anything about a person or how they came to that decision.

This guy Dr Tiller apparently performed over 60,000 late term abortions during his career.
He even arrange funerals for the aborted babies with the parents.
It appears many of the women he treated were physically and mentally traumatised for years to come after visiting his clinics ),not to mention some of the babies who survived his abortions.
As a nation we should educate ourselves to the moral question of abortion, as to whether is it is right or wrong.
A good analogy of this would be the slave trade of 3-400 years ago.
It was so ingrained in the mindset of the populations of America, UK and other counties that slavery was the norm, that it took nearly 200 years for it to be abolished.
