I wasn't shocked either but......If a crime like that happened in my town it's just as likely to be whites.

I watched it on the news a few mins ago....shocking to see him walking across the road with 11 stab wounds.

And here i was thinking it was the fault of the black scum who had a string of criminal convictions and yet again fit the black stereotype of the angry young black man who knifes someone because they dont get respect. How pathetic.

I was the victim of a violent attack back in 2003. The person who head-butted me and fractured my skull was a young, white woman, from an affluent family. Unsurprisingly, drugs were her downfall.

Let's play devil's advocate for a minute...what is it with white fellas? How come every time I open the paper or log onto the BBC news site, there's another story about some white people having sex with or pleasuring themselves to pictures of naked children/

Now, I don't believe for a single moment, that this is representative of white people in any way whatsoever, but I want to turn the spotlight on you, seeing as you get such a metaphorical hard-on when you see stories which prove your racist viewpoints.

So would you agree that blacks are the muggers and knifers whereas whites are the perverts?

Just let me state once again - I absolutely don't think that. There's no way I would characterise a whole race by their very worst elements.

However, if you look over the past few pages of posts, there's a definite focus on the evils of one race.

Just thought it would be an interesting exercise to see whether those who think that crime is race-related when the criminal is black are equally adept at pointing the fingers at themselves.

This is a theoretical exercise!!

OK, I'll hold my hand up and admit that I do think to myself "I bet his/her/their killers are black" whenever I see a simlilar news story. I'm not proud of myself for thinking this way, and I pull myself up sharply with reminders of stories like this...

Sophie's killers were a group of white Chavs which are prevailant in my town, infact Sophie was murdered in the town next to mine.
