I know i am green and i have been away for quite a while but having looked at chatterbank for the last week or so it strikes me that all the fun seems to have gone from here, its as if has been replaced by a kind of fear of being ridiculed by people who do not agree with them or would rather all the attention be on them, i find that if you try to debate with certain people they will bring up somthing that you mentioned months or even years ago and try to use it against you, or try to make you look foolish to their hangers on. Animal farm springs to mind, all chatterbankers are equal but some are more equal than others. I know i now leave myself open to criticism from the very people i have just mentioned but that is the nature of this site . by the way no names no pack drill. (i think i am still green)

I totally agree with you pjacko.

The fun has all gone out of this site thanks to a handful of people on here.
well I do agree jacko, if you act impartially you get called a sycophant. some people on here would prefer to intimidate in numbers
I've only been on AB since February but I don't often visit CB for the very reasons you've indicated pjacko.

There do seem to be little cliques and opposing factions who will mud sling rather than contribute something positive.

A pity, really. Let's hope it changes for the better, sooner rather than later, because when you do get an interesting/fun thread, it's a shame to have it hijacked by the selfish few.

Hmmmm....don't all speak at once. I think most people are quite willing to speak their minds on here. A few more interesting threads might help...but we may be in the summer doldrums now.
