Which other world leader in modern times spent his entire life consumed by one idea as in Arafat's case and did not see it to fruition. I take it Arafat did not have any other occupation.

Given that Al Jazeera estimated his personal worth at between US$4.2 billion and US$6.5 billion, one hopes he had other occupations, or certainly other distractions.
