20 charge to see your doctor
Patients should be charged 20 to see a GP in a bid to limit demands placed on the health service, a centre-right think-tank says.
The NHS is already looking to make savings and the think-tank said there was little appetite for tax rises.
Instead, they said charging for GPs would be a good way to reduce demand.

A good idea?

I can go to the chemist but he only has "mild "ointment and it will not clear up the problem.
Will there be a shake up of what chemists will be able to sell?
They will need to sell the stronger stuff and it will probably only cost 7-8
So I go to the chemist save the hassle of the doc and get the chemists advice and am 20 in pocket. If only, .........
But no it will not work like that will it!!!
