Words fail me!
I can't think of anything that horrifies me more than crimes such as this:

The person responsible must be clinically insane to even contemplate such a thing!
No question from me here............just stating my shock and disgust.

You can be insane (both clinically and legally) and be fully aware of what you are doing. In psychopaths and sociopaths the sufferer usually has a lack of empathy and absence of guilt feelings. They know full well that what they are doing is wrong, but they do it anyway.I believe this crime was committed by someone suffering one of these conditions.I'm not trying to excuse their behaviour in any way!
I hope the baby is found safe and well.

The baby has been found alive and in good condition and a man and woman have been arrested and detained.

I think in the US they actually have a charge that relates to the 'stealing' of the unborn child,I could be wrong though as i'm not a legal expert by any means! We in the UK,as far as I know, would only bring charges for the murder of the mother.I have never heard of this type of crime happening here though.
