Of course any normal person hopes she'll be found. after all there have been cases when people have been found after many years,but unfortunatly these case are few and far between and as you know such cases usually end with the discovery of a body or (and I don't know which is worst) it just gradually fades from the memory of all but the people most closely involved in it . but that doesn't mean you ever give up hope

many website and forums charge journalists for posting questions that are tied with their stories.
Its to ensure that responders are aware that its a media question, as well as making sure that people arent duped by people pretending to be reporters.
maybe, as AB doesnt seem to have a media centre, you could advise in your questions that its for your journalism job in The Sun

Mr Veritas - yes lots of people have thought that - there is a real big chance she is seeing how long she's been missing for!!! Don't be sorry - everyone is allowed thier own opinion and i agree with you a bit - that she might be dead. But i suppose if she is still alive then the people looking after her must be doing a good job, and treating her right. I hope that there is still hope for her though. And im sorry if this really dosen't make sense at all! I just feel so sorry for Kate and Jerry (the parents.)

I'd like to think she was stolen for nurture by some lonely person to love and care for, but sadly abuse is prob the reason she was taken.I would have thought a body would have turned up by now if she was dead, but not always Keith bennet is dead, we know that, but they still cant find his body. Poor little thing wherever she may be.
