Labours attempts to smear General Sir Richard Dannatt by exposing his expense claims have been foiled. Turns out that despite labour ministers howling that he had been living it up on tax payers it was totally unfounded as he spent less than 20K in four years. He bought cheap grub from Lidl and wine as low as 1.49 a bottle to enterain the dinners and receptions as p[art of his position.

Compare this with bungling Bob Ainsworth who claimed 131,000 in exes last year including 6K to decorate his second home.

So once again the bad guys exposed, no surprise though as this is what we have come to expect from labour, but should we really accept this sort of behavouir from our politicinas?

So you're trying to pin expenses allegations onto Labour now are you?

How feeble minded do you think people here are?

Do you suppose people have forgotten moat clearing and duck houses?
The Labour spin machine comes off the rails once again.

They make a habit of doing that.

They are so inept at it.

Still they will all be a thing of the past by this time next year.

Hooray for that!

"Last week, there were claims that Ministers were behind the FOI requests, but it was unclear last night who had submitted the questions"

So, in fact even according to the Mail, there is no evidence that Labour attempted to smear him.
