How do they know when and where someone is, for example, on holiday? I remember during the summer a national newspaper carried pictures of Big Brother's Shell sunbathing topless on a beach in Portugal. How do they know she's going, where she'll be and that it's her for sure?

She has 'friends' or associates that like to make a bit of cash and sell her out??

And possibly airport staff etc... officials that she would deal with?

And very often the celebrities themselves 'leak' the information because they want the publicity.

I used to work for the Mirror Group until very recently, and its common knowledge the places that the celebs go to for a night out, clubs bars restaurants etc.

Plus as was previously stated its usually leaked by the person or their agent beforehand
