Gun crime youngster v fascist thug?
6 Answers
Listening to the radio this morning I heard a gun murderer described as a "Gun Crime Youngster", yet only minutes later I heard an English Defence League person described as a "Fascist Thug".
From this, are we to presume that anyone who kills is not to be described as serious, as a person from the Far Right?
That is of course if a member of a group, who only want to speak out for the English, has got to be Far Right, Fascist, Nazi or any other disparaging title one cares to describe them with.

There doesn't seem much point in labelling a killer by his political affiliations (he may have been New Labour, he may not); there does seem some point in describing political agitators by their political affiliations. Is this so strange?
It was in fact a news reader that described the two.
I don't think politics has anything to do with the descriptions. What I was trying to get over was the fact that this person chose to call a killer a youngster, and the other a thug.
In this PC age it seems that the media seems to refrain from calling certain criminals, thugs, savages etc. yet they attach these expletives without question when referring to certain political groups.
