There is something very wrong when camps are being set up and people with small children, are prepared to live in such squalor, to get to the UK, The Le gendarmre are flexing their muscles once again and clearing the camps, but just what are soft touch Britain doing about it?
These people deliberatley destroy their passports so they cannot be sent back, they claim they do not understand anything said to them, and when they do get in, illegally work to send money back to their country of origin, Why is Britain so soft on immigration? successive goverments have waffled on now for years, but actually done nothing at all

We might well have 'cushy' lives here in Britain Sophie - but most British people have worked bloody hard to sustain that lifestyle not freeloaded on the state.

Joy, I could tell you some funny tales that happened last week with my Mum, bless her - it involved her Gluacoma eye appointment - she does have dementia but also has the 'tact' of Nan on Catherine Tate Show......................its a wonder we were not arrested. {:oD

Referring to the illegal immigrants - - there is a wonderful chance for the British Government to take quick action.

RyanAir are current offering over a million one-way flight tickets for £1 each!!!
I can't email you Joy - I lost your email address when my computer blew up.

A. Guest - what a good offer - but better still 'Buy One Get All the Family Free' would be even better {:oD

They say that the Afghanistan war could last for years, and they continue to ask for the deployment of more and more British troops.

Well here lies the solution to the immigrant problem, re-introduce National Service

You wouldn't see the young immigrants for dust, they would soon find the country they came from, and at their own expense too.

Hi zee, I am fed up with the pandering to them while our NHS suffers through lack of funding, our own sons and daughters can't afford to buy a home, my Dad always said, Nothing in this life comes Free, can someone come in here who speaks Afghani, Somalian,Iranian, Iraqui,, Albanian and any other lingo, interperate that to them, I bet they have a laptop and can say 'benefits'!!!!
it has been a huge drain on resourses thats for sure and im just waiting for racial hatred riots to start up and down the country which would be horrific
its time for the government to act tough
pull out of the e.u
and have a zero tollerence to illegal imigrants it makes a mokery for genuine cases of asylam seekers whos lives really are in danger

I am a firm believer in that aog, they would soon scarper back to their place of birth then, we aren't allowed to live in other countries unless we have a job or savings, and that job is seen to benefit that economy, even the better off people who choose to live abroad, spend their money in that country....
Why the hell is there a rule for us and yet they send their money back???
I watches a documentary some weeks back about Romanian Gypsies, stealing and begging in Milan and other large cities, they took it as their right to do this, the film took you back to Bucharest where there were mansions built from their 'pickings'
Joy - No I never got your emails - B.O.G.O.F - Perhaps they could put that on the White Cliffs of Dover (in different languages, of course).

Dancairo - I will go for answer 2. - Whats my prize ?
The current main parties (Labour, Tory, Lib Dems) are generally pro-immigration (well they certainly dont shout about being anti-immigration).

If we keep voting for these parties then they will assume the public support their views on immigration, so will continue to let people in when they get into power.

The ONLY way to show your views on immigration is to vote for a party that is ANTI immigration.

I am not saying I want a party like that in power, but if that party got enough votes it may start to worry the main parties and they may do something about it.

As long as we keep voting for the same 3 main parties they will assume the majority of the UK are pro-immigration.

It is up to us.
VHG you are right - thats exactly what my old Dad says - we don't want a party like that in power, but perhaps thats the only way the other 3 parties will listen to public opinion.
the trouble with many of the parties that are anti-immigration is that they have a "racist" label attached to them would a party like that really be any better in power?
CONSCRIPTION is the answer.....no-one would want to blight these shores if National Service returned; t'would also absorb home-grown layabouts!

make men out of mincers!
