Is it time to relicense Thalidomide given that it appears to be useful in the treatment of so many illnesses, of which this is just one example?

As there is one incontravertible side-effect to this drug.................providing there are stringent guidelines for issuing it, I can see no problem.

My thoughts exactly JTH, you can even mitigate against these effects, if memory serves, it only effects the development of children within a specific time period, after that it's perfectly safe.

I thought it had been!

It's was the situation for a long time that its powerful anti-lesion properties couldn't be prescribed even to men - which was clearly ridiculous.

I though it had been reapproved a couple of years back but maybe not in the UK
